Seminar Invitation

Virtual testing, i. e. modeling, simulation and analysis of constructions in a computer environment, is today an acknowledged technology which is used by most successful companies. The benefits, such as shorter lead time, reduction of physical prototypes and ability to test situations that can otherwise not be tested beforehand, are solid arguments for a continued evolution in this area.

A virtual model is, however, always an approximation of reality. When possible, results obtained from computer models should be compared to real world behavior. This is essential to get accurate virtual models. The key to an efficient development process is the correlation of virtual and physical testing in a correct way. The optimal amount of physical testing in relation to virtual testing will vary from company to company. It also depends on the type of applications to be solved or products being developed at each company.

The focus for this seminar is to exchange knowledge in the area of combining physical and virtual testing from various types of industry.

Who Should Attend?

The event is aimed at engineers and managers who are involved or interested in establishing efficient and reliable simulation processes.

The seminar will be accompanied by an exhibition of leading software and hardware suppliers and vendors. The exhibition will enable these to feature the latest developments and give all attendants the opportunities to discuss technical topics.

Technical coordinators of this seminar

Jonas Dyberg (Simulia Scandinavia, S) and Holger Droege (Medeso AB, S) - both are  and members of the NAFEMS Nordic Steering Committee
